Hi.

I'm so glad you found your way to my little corner of the neighborhood! Pull up a chair and stay, and let's chat about life on the margins and loving Jesus and, obviously, where to find the best cheese dip and most life-changing books.

What I'm Into: October Edition

What I am apparently NOT into is writing for 31 days in October. Seriously, sorry about that.
Basically I am into only a few things these days: 1-My adorable baby (and obviously the older two as well), and 2-Soul Care retreats in Colorado (more on this later).
I'm also into friends (some of whom look like twins, apparently) and fall fun in corn mazes and dipping temperatures. Speaking of fall-fun, tomorrow is Halloween, which is one of my favorite holidays around here.
Soul Care in Colorado for a few days meant leaving my little buddy with his more-than-capable daddy. I mean, there's a reason we call him the Stanley man. Regardless, I missed him like crazy and feel certain that he grew while I was gone.
While I didn't actually read nearly as much as I thought I would on my Colorado trip (too much time chatting with amazing women), I did read a few books on the plane and such. I finished the entire YA series by Suzanne Young starting with The Program. I didn't love it, but they had it on display at our fabulous new library, so I couldn't resist picking them up.

I also read Girl in Translation, which I did love wholeheartedly and highly recommend.

Also, I'm totally into these two being sweet brothers together. The brother relationship is not one I've ever experienced first-hand, since I only had sisters, so I'm really excited to watch it unfold!

We are not martyrs
