Our church has been temporarily been on Sunday evenings all summer (while we finish our new building, yay), which means that Sunday mornings are actually pretty easy around here these days. It's lovely, if I'm honest. This Sunday morning we went out for a family breakfast, and then picked up Zack and spent the day lounging. Lounging doesn't happen often around here, and I think we should change that.

We hosted a night this week for our boys to talk about their feelings on the Mike Brown and Ferguson stuff. We bribed the boys to come with 200 hot wings, and lots of pizza. But turns out they were ready and willing to talk. Even if we didnt have any answers, at least the boys had a space to be heard.

Major Pettigrew's Last Stand (one of my new favs)
This last one had me locked away in my room all day yesterday. The children built large forts in the living room, while the boys and Adam perched on surfaces not used for said fort-building and watched football loudly. I managed to finish all in one day, and I loved getting lost in a story so completely. Also, sometimes I love a good cry - Me Before You
